Mitoy shares life story on 'Tapatan ni Tunying'
MANILA -- Veteran singer Mitoy Yonting, the grand winner of the first season of "The Voice of the Philippines," shares his life story in this week's episode of "Tapatan Ni Tunying" hosted by Anthony Taberna.
In a teaser video for the interview, Yonting said he would have been a member of the Philippine National Police if he did not pursue a career in singing.
"Pulis. B.S. Criminology [ang kurso ko], eh nag-conflict 'yung gig at pag-aaral, eh parang naka-istorbo 'yung pag-aaral sa gig, sa gig ako pumunta kasi kumikita na nga," he said.
Aside from Yonting, Taberna also got to interview Jennifer Catayong, the grand winner of "Kalaokalike Face 2," a popular contest on "It's Showtime."
Catayong won for impersonating her idol, pop singer Nicki Minaj.
The "Kalokalike Face 2" winner admitted that she is attracted to Kapamilya star Enrique Gil and ABS-CBN reporter Atom Araullo.
"Enrique Gil... Atom Araullo, kasi nagkakaroon ng chemical imbalance kapag nakikita ko si Atom," Catayong said.
