MANILA – After three years, Angel Locsin said she is extremely excited to finally return to the world of TV soaps with her upcoming series.
Locsin’s last teleserye with ABS-CBN was “Imortal,” which she co-starred with John Lloyd Cruz in 2010.
Asked what took her so long to have another drama series again, the actress said: “Hindi naman sa namili ako ng project pero may mga projects na hindi natutuloy.
In a live interview on "The Buzz" on Sunday, Locsin said she trusts the ABS-CBN management when it comes to her projects, noting that she has been in good hands since she transferred to the Kapamilya network.
Locsin is set to tape her first scene for an upcoming ABS-CBN series which she will headline along with Jericho Rosales, Maja Salvador and JC de Vera.
This year ipapalabas,” she said.
In an earlier interview, Rosales shared some details about the new series.
“October 18, we are going to start taping. No sure title yet but I got the latest script, it says there ‘Langis at Tubig.’ I’m very excited. It’s nice to work with people I haven’t worked with,” he said.
Meanwhile, Locsin said she is willing to do any kind of project just so she could provide for her family.
I’m very blessed na ganitong klaseng trabaho pa ang nabigay sa akin ng Diyos,” she said.
Saying she owes her success to her supporters, Locsin said she will do her best in all her projects to give the viewers what they deserve.
