Bea on Zanjoe: I didn't like him at first
MANILA - Actress Bea Alonzo admitted that she was initially not attracted to actor Zanjoe Marudo, who is now her boyfriend.
And that feeling was mutual, Alonzo shared in an interview on "Kris TV" on Tuesday, as she recalled how she and Marudo started out as friends.
This changed, however, when they both realized how they have been sharing a lot of happy moments together.
"Friends lang talaga kami. Siguro na-develop. To be honest, hindi ko siya type, hindi niya ako type eh, noong nag-uumpisa," she told "Kris TV" host Kris Aquino.
"Tapos parang nasa same page kami na parehong we wanted to go out, we wanted to have fun. In the process, you're having fun with this person, nare-realize mo na ang dami mo nang happy moments with him. Tapos looking back, 'yung lahat ng moments mo with him, lahat happy," she said.
Alonzo and Marudo are set to celebrate their third year as a couple on March 16, 2014.
Asked if she thinks that Marudo is "the one," she said: "'Di ko alam. I hope he's the one."
Alonzo is busy promoting her upcoming film with Dingdong Dantes and Enrique Gil, "She's the One," which will hit cinemas nationwide on October 16.
