MANILA, Philippines -- The "secret missing grandmother" of Anne Curtis on Monday surfaced to express support for her relative's highly anticipated big-screen outing.

At the sidelines of a press conference held Monday for "A Secret Affair," Curtis' latest film co-starring Derek Ramsay and Andi Eigenmann, comedian and popular impersonator Jon Santos made an appearance that surprised the "It's Showtime" host and media reporters alike.

In a spotlight-stealing show of commitment to his newest persona, Santos, who sported Curtis' signature wavy locks and pout, arrived wearing an oversized checkered button-down over a midriff-baring tanktop, imitating the "effortless" fashion sense of the Kapamilya actress as she is seen in the noontime variety program.

Santos, who is popular for his impersonation of Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago and actress-politician Vilma Santos, among others, then introduced himself as Ms. Annelakas ng Loob Curtis, the actress' "secret missing grandmother."

"Syempre hindi ko na rin naman natiis na magtago, at inamin ko na rin ang ating pagiging kamag-anak nung nalaman ko na talaga namang inaabangan ng buong bansa ang 'Secret Affair,'" Santos told Curtis.

Apparently shocked at the comedian's unannounced visit, Curtis said: "Naloloka ako! Parang I saw my own reflection. Hindi ako maka-recover!"

Taking his cue from one of Curtis' TV ads, Santos proceeded to do an impromptu Q & A with the actress-host on the "five secrets to a guaranteed blockbuster success."

Santos: Hindi mo nararamadaman na sugal ito as a follow-up hit kasi nakukumpara ito sa 'No Other Woman.' Anong masasabi mo dito?

Curtis: You know, kahit ma-compare, nakaka-frustrate man, we'll prove you guys wrong, kasi it's a totally different movie.

Santos: Paano mo name-maintain na daring at adult ang role at situation mo in the film, pero pagdating ng giling ng camera, pagdating ng tanghali, you're still the same wholesome Anne Curtis na love na love pa rin ng (screams in a shrill voice) madlang people?

Curtis: Well, I guess that's why it's acting, 'di ba? At saka to add versatility rin sa pagiging aktres mo, you have to take on more mature roles.

Santos: Ito naman secret number 3 -- ano ang secret ng success ng tandem na Derek and Anne? (Ramsay and Curtis previously co-starred in last year's 'No Other Woman,' which went on to become the second highest-grossing local film of all time.)

Curtis: Maybe 'yung pagiging open as an actor, as an actress to one another, so nagiging natural, tapos both thinking actors, so pinag-uusapan talaga 'yung script.

Santos: Sa palagay mo, ano ang acting secret at pagkagaling ni Andi Eigenmann?

Curtis: She is a gem, I'm telling you. And I'm so happy that she accepted the role. Ito talaga masasabi ko, she will shine in the movie. She truly is a gem that has come to Viva and in this movie as well. Sobrang pleasure siyang katrabaho. Sobrang galing, nag-level up.

Santos: Walang physical challenge? Meron bang sampalan?

Curtis: Meron! Basta, ang galing talaga.

Santos: (Addressing reporters) I'd like you to know na hindi po ako dumobol doon sa mga eksena na 'yon, hindi po talaga.

Curtis: 'Di ba ikaw 'yung sa love scene?

Santos: Doon lang po sa love scenes. (Turns to Curtis) Thank you very much and congratulations in advance. (Addressing reporters) Catch that movie very soon!

Isa na lang na word of advice -- sa lahat ng babaeng inaagawan sa kasalukuyan, what can you share with them?

Curtis: Kung hindi naman pinapayagan ng boyfriend mo, awayin mo 'yung babae. Pero kung pinapatulan din ng boyfriend mo, I think it's time to pack your bags and leave him. Magsama nalang silang dalawa.

Santos: You heard it! The five secrets of Anne Curtis!

Directed by Nuel Naval, "A Secret Affair" tells the story of Rafi (Curtis) and Anton (Ramsay), whose relationship is torn by Sam (Eigenmann), his previous partner. It will hit theaters nationwide on October 24.
