Karylle congratulates Dingdong on movie
MANILA, Philippines -- Singer Karylle on Wednesday congratulated her former boyfriend, actor Dingdong Dantes, who has branched out into film producing.
Karylle was paying back Dantes' compliment when the actor said he's happy for his ex-girlfriend's successful career both here and abroad.
"Well I saw he was being interviewed for his new movie and I know that he loves really putting a movie together, directing if he could, I'm sure. But 'yun, congratulations din sa kanya," Karylle told ABS-CBNnews.com during a press conference of her new stage musical "Rama Hari" with Christian Bautista.
Asked if she would be willing to do project with Dantes if ever there's a chance, Karylle replied: "Well ayaw ko namang pilitin na ako pa ang magi-start pero kung dumating, I always say naman na I don't limit myself pagdating sa ganyan."
In a previous interview, Dantes, who worked with Karylle at the Bench Universe fashion show last September 13, also reacted on Karylle's sexy figure.
Dantes and Karylle broke up in September 2008, amid rumors linking the actor to his new leading lady at the time, actress Marian Rivera.
The "It's Showtime" host is now reportedly in a relationship with singer Yael Yuzon, while Dantes and Rivera have been officially a couple for years now.
