Star Cinema teases first glimpse of '24/7 In Love'

4 Kapamilya movies lined up till year's end

MANILA, Philippines -- The film production outfit of ABS-CBN has released a first-look teaser of the highly anticipated 20th anniversary film offering of Star Magic.

Star Cinema is gearing up for a packed last quarter of the year with four more big screen outings in the offing for Filipino moviegoers.

Following the box-office success of the riotous team-up of Vice Ganda, Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano in "This Guy's In Love With You Mare," Star Cinema is gearing up for the premiere of the romantic-comedy film "Suddenly It's Magic" starring Thai superstar Mario Maurer and Kapamilya actress Erich Gonzales.

The Filipino-Thai flick directed by Rory B. Quintos will hit theaters nationwide on October 31.

Set for a release on November 21, "24/7 In Love," meanwhile, brings together the biggest stars of ABS-CBN's talent management firm for its 20th anniversary.

In a teaser footage released for the film (above), several Star Magic talents are seen, inculding Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu, Maja Salvador, Sam Milby, Diether Ocampo, Angelica Panganiban, Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Zaijan Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat, and Pokwang.

Billed as a romance anthology, "24/7 In Love" is directed by John D. Lazatin, Mae Czarina Cruz, Frasco Santos Mortiz, and Dado Lumibao.

Wrapping up its blockbuster year, Star Cinema will release on Christmas Day two film entries to the 38th Metro Manila Film Festival.

Both big screen offerings will feature team-ups that are sure to generate some buzz among moviegoers.

In "One More Try," the lives of two couples -- portrayed by Panganiban and Dingdong Dantes, and Angel Locsin and Zanjoe Marudo -- get entangled as forbidden romance bloom among them.

The Wenn V. Deramas film "Sisteraka," meanwhile, will bring together the biggest comedy stars in the country -- Ai-ai de las Alas and Vice Ganda -- and the Queen of All Media, actress-host Kris Aquino.
