MANILA, Philippines - Bianca Gonzalez now wears another hat other than being a television host.

In an interview on ABS-CBN's late-night news program "Bandila" on Thursday, the former co-host of Showbiz News Ngayon (SNN) said she is now a columnist of the broadsheet The Philippine Star.

“Yes [I have a column] every Sunday. Kakasimula ko pa lang itong month na ito,” she said.

Gonzalez’ weekly column, “Things You Should Know About...," has so far covered 3 celebrities.

Her first article, which featured Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, was published last October 2.

This was followed by her piece on basketball coach Norman Black, and then a write-up about broadcast journalist Ted Failon.

When asked how she feels about her new undertaking, Gonzalez uttered, “Mahirap.”

“Mahirap pala ang ginagawa ng mga manunulat, [pero it’s] exciting,” she added.
