Character actress Malou de Guzman said that there's really a time for everything -- even in showbiz.

De Guzman, who's also a college professor, said she's now enjoying her time doing primetime television shows.

In an interview, the actress said that doing roles for primetime series is a great honor for her since she’s able to prove her talent in acting.

"Masarap. Talagang may panahon ang lahat ng bagay. Nagkakaroon tayo ng ispasyo ng puwang para maipakita mo naman yung talagang galing at kahusayan ng tao. So masarap ang pakiramdam," de Guzman said

The actress rose to fame when she played the character of a hilarious and powerful sea monster named "Dugong" for ABS-CBN's first fantaserye "Marina" with Claudine Barretto.

The actress said that right now, she's happy being part of the network's newest hit, the Asian series "Kahit Isang Saglit" with Jericho Rosales and Malaysian actress Carmen Soo.

When asked if it was easy for her to shift character from a sea monster to a normal human being, de Guzman jokingly said: "Nahirapan ako."

De Guzman, who started in comedy show "Ober da Bakod” as Lucring, was also part of defunct fantasy series "Kampanerang Kuba" with Anne Curtis.

She was also a performance teacher in ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Dream Academy during Season 1 and 2.
