The country's young diva Charice is not alone when it comes to making dreams come true. Another young Filipina -- Mary Justin Galansa -- now shares the limelight with music icon Celine Dion after she posed and appeared with the international diva and children with stories of hope from all over the world for the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) 2009 calendar .

Mary Jane is one of 12 children from nine countries who were chosen by Reader's Digest correspondents to be part of the "Faces of Hope" project.

The project aims to raise funds for charities like CHU Sainte- Justine, Toronto Hospital for Sick Children and Unicef.

Aside from Mary Jane, the other children, Chris, Milagros, Martunis, Anna, Elisabeta, Samu, Miles, Mario, Donald, Fanni and Andrew, along with members of their families also spent a week fulfilling their dreams in Montreal.

They also went and see the Nigara Falls, rode a helicopter and met an Olympic champion. Mary Jane and the kids had their personal photo session with Dion that was directed by famous photographer Heidi Hollinger last July.

The lives of Mary Jane and the other eight children were celebrated in pictures and words in a book, greeting cards and a calendar.

The book, titled "12 héros parmi nous" was launched in August. The greeting cards and 2009 calendar are now available.

Mary Jane's photos with Dion were also published by Canadian magazine "La Semaine" in its August edition.
