'Ghost' haunted 'Amorosa' shooting?
MANILA, Philippines -- Moviegoers were not the only ones who were spooked by the recent horror film "Amorosa: The Revenge."
According to its lead star, actress Angel Aquino, the cast of the Topel Lee-directed "maindie" film had their share of horror stories while shooting the movie.
In an interview on "Rated K," Aquino shared her spooky experience with a "ghost" while shooting "Amorosa" in Tanay, Rizal.
"First time na pumasok kami doon sa bahay, 'yung location namin sa Tanay, ay matatakot ka talaga. Siguro kasi dahil sa napapaligiran kami ng puno," Aquino said.
According to Aquino, even if the house was just built 15 years ago, there was a haunting presence that they couldn't explain.
"One of the stylists, si Regie, he' s a clairvoyant, alam niya na mayroon at the door. Pero the whole time that we stayed there wala naman kaming naramdaman," the actress said.
That was until they photographed butterflies and a supposed image of a ghost.
"Si Jane (Oineza) nagpunta siya doon sa bahay na walang tao, may nakita siyang naka-allign na butterflies as in perfect diagonal line," Aquino said.
As for the "ghost," Oineza initially thought it was just her reflection.
"Naisip ko nga na baka imagination ko lang, pero parang hindi kasi nakaputi 'yung babae eh naka-all black ako," Oineza recalled.
Aquino added: "She was really looking at the camera. She really wanted to be in the picture. But it really looks like a girl, a little girl na medyo kahawig pa nga niya 'yung ghost in 'Amorosa,' si Sandra."
