Maurer back in PH for 'Suddenly It's Magic'
MANILA, Philippines -- Thai actor Mario Maurer is back in Manila in time for the Wednesday opening of his film "Suddenly It's Magic" with actress Erich Gonzales.
According to Mico del Rosario, advertising and promotions manager of Star Cinema, Maurer and Gonzales will attend the press conference with director Rory Quintos and the rest of the cast on Monday night.
Del Rosario tweeted that Mauer arrived on Sunday and immediately went to work to tape interviews with Gonzales.
"Suddenly It's Magic" tells the story of a Marcus Hanson (Maurer), a superstar in his native Thailand, who finds love in the Philippines, where he meets baker Joey Hermosa (Gonzales).
The movie was shot both in the Philippines and in Thailand.
Also part of the cast are Joross Gamboa, Joy Viado, Guji Lorenzana, Ces Quesada, Dinkee Doo, John Lee and Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul.
The movie will have its red-carpet premiere night on Tuesday at SM Megamall and will hit theaters nationwide on October 31.
