Joross on Cristine, Rayver: 'Okay kami'
MANILA, Philippines -- Despite rumors alleging that his role in an upcoming series was given to Rayver Cruz, Joross Gamboa said he remains in good terms with the soap's lead star Cristine Reyes and her real-life boyfriend.

The upcoming ABS-CBN series "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin" was reportedly set to star Reyes, Gamboa and Gerald Anderson in a love triangle. But reports have surfaced that the Kapamilya actress requested the network's management to give Gamboa's role to Cruz instead.
Gamboa, an alumnus of the Kapamilya reality talent search "Star Circle Quest" (SCQ), and Reyes were romantically linked for a time before she became involved with Cruz.
"May narinig akong ganoon," Gamboa was quoted as saying by the entertainment news site Push.com.ph, referring to the alleged re-casting in "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin."
"Pero walang masamang tinapay sa akin. Kung para sa akin, para sa akin, kung hindi, okay lang din. Pero sayang, sana dapat makakasama ko sana 'yung matagal ko ng gustong makatrabaho na kapatid ko, si Gerald," Gamboa added.
Before his stint as a housemate in the reality TV show "Pinoy Big Brother," Anderson performed alongside Gamboa as a back-up dancer.
Although he bears no ill feelings toward anyone, the "SCQ" runner-up admitted he was surprised by the supposed changes, sating he had been waiting for the story conference for "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin," but never received a call on the day of the meeting.
Despite this, Gamboa maintained that he continues to be in good terms with Reyes and Cruz.
"Nagulat lang ako siyempre at saka nagtaka. Kasi naisip ko nga nagkatrabaho naman kami before, okay kami. Nagkikita naman kami kapag nanonood ng sine sa Alabang Town (Center), kapag birthday ni Rayver, minsan nagkakasabay kami ni Rayver sa gym, so walang problema," he said.
