MANILA, Philippines -- The Halloween festivities in the United States were an opportune time for several Kapamilya talents to dress up as their favorite superhero, and take their colorful outfits to the streets.

A number of Star Magic talents are currently in Los Angeles, California for a series of shows celebrating the 20th anniversary of ABS-CBN's talent management arm.

In a series of "tweets" from Maja Salvador, the actress shared images of her and her fellow Star Magic artists in their Halloween costumes.

In one photo posted on the micro-blogging site (above), Salvador -- whose get-up was "barbarian babe"-inspired -- is seen posing with Rayver Cruz, who dressed up as the lightning god Thor; Enchong Dee as the blood-sucking Dracula; Kim Chiu as Catwoman; Xian Lim; Enrique Gil; and Sam Milby as Superman.

Other companions are seen in the same photo dressed up as Captain America, Iron Man and the Hulk.

Another Star Magic talent, Julia Montes, kept it simple in black, as seen in a photo on her official page on Twitter. She is seen posing with comedienne Pokwang, who dressed up as a samurai.

A week before the anticipated Halloween festivities, hosts of "It's Showtime" also took inspiration from fictional heroes for their week-long special.

During the Monday episode of the top-rating noontime variety show, its hosts entertained the "madlang people" as Wonder Woman (Anne Curtis), Korean superstar Psy (Jugs Jugueta), "Hunger Games" heroine Katniss Everdeen (Karylle), and Catwoman (Vice Ganda).

Now on vacation from her showbiz engagements here, Curtis also attended the Hollywood Cemetery Halloween Party in Los Angeles. Dressed as a "dominatrix," the "Secret Affair" star was accompanied by supermodel Teresa Herrera, director Quark Henares and Rembrandt Flores to the "#adamelvinebash".
