MANILA – Prince of Hearts Makisig Morales was one of the promising child stars in 2005.
The child star rose to fame after joining singing competition "Little Big Star." At a very young age, he was given a big break after bagging the lead role in the now defunct ABS-CBN television series "Super Inggo."
After the series had its finale, however, Morales seemed to have disappeared from the limelight.
The young actor, 12, admitted that he doesn’t get as many projects today as before, especially now that he is in an “awkward stage.”
Despite the lull in his career, Morales, an exclusive ABS-CBN talent, remains optimistic. He said he has more time now to focus on his education.
The young star is a first year high school student at La Coleta Academy in San Mateo, Rizal.
Morales, who will turn 13 on December 22, said he is hoping that his project with King of Comedy Dolphy will still push through.
Reports said Dolphy and Makisig will do a television series with working title "Utoy."
Morales is also part of Kapamilya network’s "Super Inggo" animation. -Reyma Buan-Deveza, abs-cbnNEWS.com
