Star Magic tour hits Los Angeles
The Star Magic artists were greeted by fans during a meet and greet prior to their Los Angeles concert on Saturday, November 3.
From Piolo Pascual and the Kim Chiu-Xian Lim tandem, to Erich Gonzales who just released her newest movie and "Walang Hanggan" star Julia Montes, many of the artists are glad to be celebrating their recent success with their US fans.
"It's good to be with you Kapamilyas at Star Magic, so it's exciting," Pascual said.
"It's good to be back!" Lim added.
"It's good to be back working and being with my Star Magic family and being here para sa mga kababayan ko here in Los Angeles," added Sam Milby, who now spends time in New York as he pursues an international acting career.
Milby left for a Las Vegas show two days before hurricane "Sandy" ravaged the East Coast last week, flooding many areas of New York and New Jersey.
"I got out right on time. Obviously na first time na nangyari 'yan sa New York and I saw everything that happened," the actor said. "I know that some of the places, well it was still going normal but the subways, and where I was staying at doon sa Tribeca, 'yung hotel kung saan ako nag-stay, the lobby was flooded so I really got out right on time."
While Milby is safe and happy to be on tour, he did check on some of his East Coast friends and said he has been impressed with the rescue efforts.
"I'm glad most people are safe and everything is getting back to normal. It's amazing how everyone is tulong tulong ng lahat ng Tao residents doon," he said.
Milby doesn't plan on returning to New York until later next year. Instead, he will fly back to the Philippines this weekend, where he will begin some Philippine projects.
After the Star Magic concert, some stars will head back to the Philippines while others will make more concert stops.
But no matter where they go, it's back to work as they continue to entertain their fans abroad.
