It's time to rock. The country's premiere rock station NU Rock NU 107 will be holding their 15th NU 107 Rock Awards at  Silvercity, Frontera Verde in Pasig City on Thursday, November 27.

The NU107 Rock Awards will honor bands who shaped influenced and pioneered Pinoy rock in one way or another through their music and still continue to influence today's newest bands.

The night will also be a celebration of rock gods -- the people who've set the standards of Pinoy rock in the past.

The best bands/ and individual acts in the country will be competing for 14 categories, including Song of The Year, Best New Artist, Band/Artist of The Year, Album of The Year & Listeners' Choice Award, Vocalist of The Year, Guitarist of The Year, Bassist of The Year, Drummer of The Year and Producer of the Year awards.

The winning bands/ individuals will be judged through online polls and text voting.

Meanwhile, for the first time in the history of NU 107 Rock Awards, up-and-coming bands from colleges and universities will vie for the honor of Best College Band of the Year.
 
To make the night more rocking, 10 of the country's most popular bands -- Urbandub, Sandwich, RadioActive Sago Projec, Rico Blanco, Pupil, Markus highway, The Dawn, Greyhoundz, Razorback and Bamboo -- will be there for live performances.
