MANILA, Philippines -- Action star Robin Padilla said his wife, host-actress Mariel Rodriguez, is fully supportive of his upcoming drama series "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw" with Anne Curtis and former sweetheart Kris Aquino.

Asked if Rodriguez every gets jealous because of his kissing scenes with his leading ladies, Padilla replied: "Si Mariel kasi ang klase ng asawang hindi isyu 'yan, siguro dahil artista din siya.

Padilla also stressed that there is no reason for his wife to get jealous of Curtis and Aquino.

"Wala naman siya dapat pagselosan. Wala pa talaga. Ang bait ko," he added.

Last week, the celebrity couple went to Vietnam to take a short break, along with Padilla's daughters from a previous relationship.

Padilla also credits Rodriguez for helping him in his sitcom "Toda Max" as he considers his wife a natural comedienne.
