MANILA - Stamina is apparently not an issue for boxer Manny Pacquiao.
Straight after his much-awaited fight against Puerto Rican boxer Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas, the Filipino pound-for-pound champion held a mini-concert at a post-fight after-party in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
Pacquiao still sported fresh facial injuries and a white bandage around his right ear when he belted out tunes like "La Bamba", "Pilipino", and "Maghintay Ka Lamang."
The boxer had just come from a 12-round bout with Cotto, where he beat the Puerto Rican with a technical knockout in the last round.
The Mandalay Bay Resort is about 3 blocks away from the MGM Grand Arena, where the "Firepower" match was held.
Though visibly injured and tired from the fight, Pacquiao gamely sang songs upon the request of Filipino and American audiences at Mandalay Bay.
He was accompanied onstage by "Britain's Got Talent" semi-finalist Madonna Decena (whose musical career Pacquiao manages) and her "Nugroovz" band from the United Kingdom.
The "Pacman's" Canadian adviser Mike Koncz said in a previous interview that the mini-concert would go on regardless of the "Firepower" showdown's outcome.
Decena was supposed to fill in for Pacquiao if the boxer wasn't feeling up to the task of singing, or if he wasn't in a condition to hold a concert for hundreds of people.
Decena and Pacquiao did several duets, including Dan Hill's hit "Sometimes When We Touch", which Pacquiao often sings on TV interviews.
The star-studded mini-concert also included appearances by Martin Nievera, Lito Camo, and the pop group "La Diva", who sang the Philippine National Anthem before the Pacquiao-Cotto fight, and Pacquiao's own "MP" band.
Aside from boxing, Pacquiao is noted for his love of singing "karaoke." He has recorded several commercial songs like "Lahing Pinoy" and "Para Sa'yo ang Laban Na 'To." With reports from Reyma Buan-Deveza and Trina Lagura, abs-cbnNEWS.com. Photos by Tom Donoghue.

GREATEST FIGHTER EVER
7 world titles in 7 different weight divisions, P4P Manny Pacquiao is in a class by himself. No boxer in the history of the sport attained this feat.
From this day forward, whatever happens in Manny's future fight win or lose he will be forever called one of the "greatest boxer ever" if not the greatest.
Humility, Perseverance, Persistent, Hard work and above all, love of God and belief in his faith sustained Manny to over come what ever obstacle facing him every time he fights.
