MANILA - Boxing champion Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and his wife Jinkee were in good "kissing" terms upon the couple's arrival in Manila on Friday amid rumors of the boxer's affair with sultry actress Krista Ranillo.

Pacquiao and Jinkee kissed in public at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) while posing for the press with their three children and the boxer’s mother, Dionisia.

Jinkee walked beside Pacquiao upon their arrival at the airport around 5:30 a.m., belying earlier reports that the two were returning in Manila in different flights.

Facing the media, the two were teased to kiss in public. Hesitating for a moment, the couple faced each other and quickly kissed.

Jinkee giggled and laughed before the teasing crowd.

She even posed playfully with the boxing champ, relieving rumors that they are in no speaking terms due to reports that her husband was having an affair with young sexy actress Ranillo.

The rumors of the illicit affair spread due to reports of sightings of Pacquiao and Ranillo on several occasions.

A video of Pacquiao leaving after guesting at the Jimmy Kimmel show on his car with a woman covering her face, rumoured to be Ranillo, has been circulating on the internet.

There were reports that the two went together in Hong Kong and the latest, photos of the two together in Baguio City.

The swirling rumors of Pacquiao’s affair with the sexy actress was said to be the reason why Jinkee cried during the Thanksgiving Mass held in Las Vegas.

The news footage shows Jinkee bawling and crying at the Mass, refusing to be consoled by her husband.

Jinkee also skipped her husband's post-fight party in Las Vegas.

Mommy Dionisia speaks up

While Jinkee has kept mum on the rumors, Pacman's mother answered the issue.

In an inteview with ABS-CBN News, Mommy Dionisia said that reports are simply not true and it was not the first time that her son faced intrigues over having other women.

“Ang nag-intriga, kung sino ang nag-umpisa baka sila ang may gusto. Bakit iintrigahin nila?" Dionisia said.

Asked directly if she believes that her son has a romantic relationship with Ranillo, she replied: "Hindi ako naniniwala na may relasyon. Bakit maghahanap pa si Manny ng iba eh maganda ang asawa? Mayroon na silang pamumuhay. Sa isip ko mayroong maninira kasi sikat na talaga si Manny at Jinkee,”

Mommy Dionisia also asked Jinkee’s family not to believe the rumors.

"Kung galit sila sa akin, para naman hindi tayo taong natural, kasi ako hindi ako naniniwala to see is to believe ako,” she said.

On Thursday (November 19), Jinkee’s parents and relatives said they are going to boycott Pacman's film (Whapakman) because of the rumors. They said they can feel that Jinkee is hurting, interpreting the footage at the Thanksgiving Mass.

Jinkee's mother Rosalina Jamora said she felt pained at seeing one of her daughters heartbroken. Jinkee has a twin sister named Janet.

"Bilang ina, siyempre nasaktan ako. Kung ano ang mga intriga ng mga tao, sila na siguro ang magdedesisyon niyan. (As a mother, of course I was hurt. Whatever the intrigues are, they will have to decide on that)," Mrs. Jamora said in an interview in Saranggani province.

Jinkee's father, Nestor Jamora, was visibly angrier, saying that the entire Jamora clan is angry at Manny for putting undue strain on his relationship with Jinkee.

"Ang daming galit sa kanya. Tapos 'yang issue kay Jinkee. Lahat dito, puro pamilya ang nandito [ay galit sa kanya]. (So many people are mad at [Manny]. And here comes that issue with Jinkee. Everyone here, her family, is mad at him)," Mr. Jamora said.
 
Mr. Jamora added that he will boycott the film "Whapakman" even if he gets free seats as Manny's father-in-law.

He also believes that the rumors of Manny's affair with Ranillo will ruin his electoral campaign as congressman of the lone district of Saranggani province, which is Jinkee's hometown.

The boxer will be up against businessman Roy Chongbian, brother of third-termer and outgoing Saranggani Rep. Erwin Chongbian. With a report from Jay Dalupay, ABS-CBN General Santos City
