MANILA, Philippines – Jake Ejercito, the son of former President Joseph Estrada and former movie actress Laarni Enriquez, revealed that there was a point when he and actor Albie Casiño were both in a relationship with actress Andi Eigenmann.

In an exclusive interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal, Ejercito explained that Eigenmann was already his girlfriend even before the actress got pregnant.

“The thing is, before siya mabuntis, kami na. I think my mom mentioned in an interview na… nakita niya kasi ako eh. One time, nung mag-LQ (lovers’ quarrel) kami ni Andi, nasa Manila ako. Bumalik ako ng London kasi start na ng school. Pagbalik ko, sila na ulit ni Albie. Pero hindi kami nag-break or anything. Nag-away lang kami. Pagbalik ko, biglang buntis na, gano’n,” he shared.

Ejercito said this was the reason his mom got hurt and heartbroken.

“Basically, yes [nag-overlap]. And it’s because of that kaya medyo nasaktan… Siyempre, nanay ka eh, ‘di ba? Siyempre, masasaktan ka rin para sa anak mo,” he said.

But despite what happened, Ejercito still stood by Eigenmann.

Asked if Casiño was also aware that the supposed "overlapping," Ejercito said: “Hindi ko alam, e. Ewan ko. Hindi ko alam. I’m not sure.”

Meanwhile, Ejercito came to the defense of his parents, saying they never told him to stay away from Eigenmann even if she already has a child out of wedlock.

“Kasi, after the interview [ni Jaclyn Jose, Eigenmann’s mom], siyempre may mga nagtu-tweet. May comments na medyo nakakasakit. Kasi parang ang nakuha ng tao, ang pinapalabas ni Tita Jane, dahil lang nabuntis si Andi, nagkaanak si Andi, pinagbawalan na ako ng parents ko. So, parang nagmamalinis sila,” he said.

“But then, my parents, both their lives are open book. Alam naman ng mga tao 'yung nangyari sa kanila, 'yung relationship ng parents ko. Never silang nagmalinis. So, hindi lang dahil nabuntis si Andi kaya ano… dahil nandun pa rin nga ako, e,” Ejercito added.

He, however, said his parents told him to be careful.

“Well, napanood naman natin 'yung reaction ng dad ko [sa 'TV Patrol']. Totoo 'yung sinabi niya na, both my parents, never nila akong pinagbawalan kay Andi. 'Yun lang, nung nabuntis si Andi, they just told me to be careful, to watch out, to look after myself lang. But not necessarily bawal na, ‘Itigil n’yo na ‘yan!’ Walang gano’n. Kasi, kung ganun man, matagal nang wala ‘to, e. Matagal nang natapos sana,” he said.

In her previous interview with “The Buzz,” Eigenmann said she was really caught off guard when her mom talked about how Ejercito’s parents seem to not approve of her for their son.

She, however, stressed that she understands why Jose did that. For Eigenmann, it was just unfortunate that people interpreted her mom's words the wrong way.

Eigenmann said she doesn't know if Ejercito’s parents really disapprove of her. But whether Ejercito’s parents like her or not, Eigenmann said she wants to personally apologize to Ejercito’s parents.
