Beauty clinic Calayan Surgicenter has introduced its newest celebrity endorsers who will soon grace its yet to be unveiled big billboard, owners Dr. Manuel Calayan and wife Dr. Rosario “Pie” Calayan said.

“We’re unveiling a big billboard with 15 endorsers from all walks of life. May bata, bagets, beauty queens,” Calayan said during the press launch of “To C is to Believe” Friday night at the Renaissance Hotel.

Among the celebrity endorsers introduced Friday night were Mariel Rodriguez, Bianca Gonzales, Gina Pareño, Boy Abunda, Celia Rodriguez, Dexter Doria, John Prats, Iya Villania, Miriam Quimbao and Precious Lara Quigaman.

“Hindi ko inisip sa tanang buhay ko na mag-e-endorse ako ng beauty and surgery center. Dreams come true, ‘yon lang,” Abunda said.

Abunda, however, admitted that he is not into any “invasive procedure” just yet, saying he has to muster enough courage first before he agrees to go under the knife.

“There are procedures that can enhance you without having to go through an invasive procedure. Nag-iipon pa ako ng lakas ng loob,” he said.

The Calayan couple, meanwhile, said the launching of their new celebrity endorsers was in a way a “victory party” after a court dismissed the case filed against them by a Filipino-American patient.

The case was in connection with an alleged botched penile-enlargement procedure.

“Thanksgiving na din for winning our case. Victory party na din to… nagpapasalamat [kami] sa Diyos na na-dismiss na ang kaso at nagce-celebrate kami,” Calayan said.

His wife, Pie, added: “Whatever happens the show must go on. Of course, all our endorsers now have been very helpful to us.” With Entertainment Live
