Regine says baby Nate changed her life
MANILA, Philippines - Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez shared her happiness being a mom to her baby Nathaniel James.
"A lot, in a lot of ways. Siyempre mas inuuna ko na ang pangangailangan ng anak ko. It's no longer about me," Velasquez told ABS-CBNnews.com on Thursday during a press conference for her and baby Nate's endorsement of "Pampers Comfort."
"It's been great. You know when they say that it will change your life, I had no idea, but it's really wonderful," she added.
Last week during her 25th silver anniversary, the singer brought her fans to tears when she performed "God Gave Me You" for her son Nate and "Leader of The Band" to her father, Mang Gerry.
The audience applauded and cried during the singer's song for her.
The repeat of singer Velasquez's silver anniversary concert is tentatively set on December 8.
After the concert, Velasquez and her family will be spending the Christmas holidays abroad.
Velasquez said her family is now planning to spend Christmas in Australia to be with Nate's sisters - the children of her husband Ogie Alcasid with his first wife Michelle Van Eimeren.
"We are going to Australia, we are going to spend it with our family there, with his sisters," the singer said.
"It's their second time to meet and they'd been missing him, they are so in love with him (Nate) so we are really excited," she said.
