'Wanted: Border' to be screened at IndieSine

MANILA - Top movie cable channel Cinema One continues its 15th anniversary grand celebration by screening “Wanted: Border,” the 2009 Cinema One Originals' best picture, at the IndieSine of the Robinson’s Galleria from November 25 to December 1.

A mystery-drama-thriller about a lonesome religious woman, Ray Defante Gibraltar’s “Wanted: Border” has bagged major awards at the 5th Cinema One Originals Digital Film Festival Awards.

It also won best production design, best music, best original screenplay and best director awards. Lead star Rosanna Roces received the best actress award for playing the sinister Mama Saleng in the movie.

The film also stars Kristoffer Rhys Grabato, Saunshine Teodoro, Marisol Alquizar and Raffy Tejada.

The story centers around a religious fanatic named Mama Saleng who owns a boarding house and an eatery. The mystery starts when people who start living in her boarding house disappear one by one.

"Wanted: Border" is produced and owned by CPI (Creative Programs, Inc.) through its yearly Cinema One Originals movie film festival.
