Pacquiaos face intrigues together
MANILA – Pound-for-pound king Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and wife Jinkee flew together here amid speculations on the boxer’s reported illicit affair with young sexy actress Krista Ranillo.
Upon the couple’s arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport from General Santos City, entertainment reporters commented that the two looked so sweet.
To which, Manny replied: "Lagi naman kaming sweet."
When asked about the couple’s reported marital problems as a result of the alleged affair, a visibly irritated Manny said: "Anong problema? Kayo ang may problema, hindi ako."
"Bakit totoo ba? Sa mga tao lang, gusto lang nila ng isyu. Dapat kasi panoorin nila ang 'Wapakman,'" added the boxing star.
Manny was referring to his upcoming film, one of the entries to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, which also features Ranillo.
But when asked why he apologized to the Ranillo family, he said: "Tao lang tayo. Kailangan na marunong tayong magpakumbaba. Kailangang magpakumbaba tayo palagi."
Jinkee, on the other hand, said she is standing by her husband.
"'Yong pagmamahal ko naman walang pagbabago. Hindi kailangang maapektuhan. Isipin ko na lang ang mga anak ko masaya na ako doon," Jinkee said.
When asked about the possibility of Manny meeting the Ranillo family to discuss the issue, Jinkee answered: "Hindi na kailangan. Text is okay. Joke!"
Manny and Jinkee first broke their silence on the raging controversy on Sunday.
Pacquiao, who previously refused to address the issue, flatly denied the alleged affair between him and Ranillo. He maintained that the actress, who is a villain in "Wapakman," is just a close friend.
In a statement sent to ABS-CBN News Wednesday, the Ranillo family also categorically denied that any inappropriate relationship exists between the “Wapakman” stars. SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon

Mag deny kayo nang deny! This recent publicity gimmick to promote a movie in which Krista is not even the leading lady is a poor taste of choice to the extent both families are hurt and embarrassed. Manny, stick to boxing and philanthropy. Yun ang napala mo sa showbiz, puro intriga at sa politica, those people hovering you around are just taking advantage of your popularity and endorsement. Who are your real friends by the way? Will they be there at the end when you will be poor again? maski si Jinkee, baka hiwalayan kana rin pag hindi na nya kaya ang pagka womanizer mo. This is not the first but the worst and notorious. Bakit hindi kana lang manahimik at contento sa buhay. Pinapasukan mo pa mag actor, congressmn at singer. Wala ka namang talent at edukasyon diyan. Hindi pa ba enough ang multi business nyo? Sabagay, buhay mo naman yan, I don't care.....
Manny's alleged affair is similar to Tiger Woods. The only difference was Jinkee did not scratch his face and smack w/ the glove to bleed. All she did was cry in public after the rumors came to light. It must be painful to encounter Krista in Las Vegas shopping w/ Manny's money and enjoying the free hotel stays w/ the family in tow. And where is she now, still hiding in the US ...in Manny's mansion again? is this true?
Manny is lucky to have a wife who stayed calm and civil unlike Tiger Woods wife who really ran after him w/ the golf club. Ouch!
