In an interview with “The Buzz” after the 25th Awit Awards ceremony held last week, Geronimo said having a boyfriend is not what will define her happiness.
Saying she could not ask for anything more, Geronimo shared that she is looking forward to spending Christmas with her family and close friends this year.
Another thing that makes the singer happy is her upcoming movie with actor John Lloyd Cruz.
After being delayed a number of times since it was first announced in mid-2011, the film with the working title "It Takes a Man and a Woman" is now slated for release on Valentine's Day, according Viva Entertainment head Vic del Rosario.
Geronimo said she feels excited to be working again with Cruz.
"It's a joy, kasi ang tagal na since we last worked together. Masaya ako na nanumbalik 'yung friendship namin, 'yung magandang working relationship namin, better talaga. Masaya kami sa set," the actress-singer said.
Geronimo said Cruz has made her feel “so comfortable” that she gets to be herself whenever they are on set.
“Sobrang komportable ako sa taong iyon kasi iyon din ang pinaramdam niya sa akin noong una kaming magkatrabaho,” she said.
