MANILA, Philippines -- An ABS-CBN-aired fantasy anthology topped the 15 most watched programs across the country last month, as 12 other Kapamilya shows dominated the same list released Tuesday.

The long-running Kapamilya show "Wansapanataym" took the No. 1 spot in the list of TV programs with the highest average nationwide rating in the Philippines in November.

The list is based on the latest TV ratings data of multinational market research group Kantar Media.

Trailing "Wansapanataym," which garnered an average national TV rating of 33.8% last month, are "Princess and I" (32.8%), "Ina, Kapatid, Anak" (32.2%), and "TV Patrol" (30.8%) -- all weekday primetime offerings of ABS-CBN.

Rounding up the Top 5 is the longest-running drama anthology in Asia, "Maalaala Mo Kaya," with 29.4%.

Other ABS-CBN programs on the list are "Aryana," "Kapamilya Deal or No Deal," "Be Careful With My Heart," "Goin' Bulilit," "Rated K," "TV Patrol (Sabado)," "TV Patrol (Linggo)," and "A Beautiful Affair."

First aired in 1997, "Wansapanataym" is a values-oriented weekend program that features one-off stories with elements of adventure and fantasy.

For its 2010 TV revival -- "Wansapanataym" aired until 2005, and then from 2006 to 2007 -- the fantasy anthology continued its tradition of tapping big-name stars to topbill its episodes.

Over the years since it started airing, the Kapamilya show has been honored by numerous award-giving bodies. Most recently, "Wansapanataym" was named Best Children and Youth Program at this year's Catholic Mass Media Awards, and Best Horror-Fantasy Program at the 2012 PMPC Star Awards.

Kantar Media uses a nationwide panel size of 2,609 urban and rural homes, more than AGB Nielsen’s 1,980 homes that are only based in urban areas. Kantar Media’s panel represents 100% of the total Philippine TV viewing population, while AGB Nielsen reportedly represents only 57% of the Philippine TV viewing population.
