'Top Model' finalist Isis King in Manila to shoot film
MANILA, Philippines - Isis King, known as the first transgender contestant on "America's Next Top Model," is in Manila to shoot a film.
"Hello Forever" tells the story of a mother who is trying to find her missing child with the help of her three friends.
Here, King will play the role of Romy, a transvestite who longs to find true love.
King, who became one of the finalists of Cycle 11 of "America's Next Top Model," said the movie is a dream come true.
Aside from King, the film also stars Rebecca Khoo, Sam Booc and half-Filipino Jennifer Bianco.
