Young actor Marky Cielo, winner of talent-search program Starstruck, died in his sleep Sunday, reports said.

There was no official word regarding the cause of his death but show business talk show “The Buzz” reported that it could be due to acute pancreatitis.

The Buzz host Boy Abunda, who once worked with the 20-year-old actor in a fashion show, described him as a “nice guy.”

“He was very nice. He was one of the models. Nice guy, such a nice guy. Kami ay nakikiramay sa kanyang pamilya,” Abunda said.

“So young, so promising,” he added.
