WATCH: Melai, Jason exchange wedding vows
MANILA – Melissa Cantiveros can now attach “Francisco” to her surname after she tied the knot with Jason Francisco in wedding ceremony held last week.
The two exchanged wedding vows at the Holy Cross Parish in General Santos City last December 9.
Francisco promised the pregnant Cantiveros that he will love her and their baby for the rest of his life.
“To my favorite girl in the world, the first time I saw you, it’s like you brought me to real happiness and put really a big smile to my wacky face. I really liked you the first time I saw you. But it’s not a love at first sight," he said.
"Anyway, as years go by, we have many many happiness that we’ve shared. Of course there are sad times but I think that’s really what a relationship is. Melissa, you know I love you like a love song baby. I really do. It’s the reason why we are here in Church – to share with our loved ones and our fans and our families,” he added.
“I, Jason Francisco, say this and proud as always that I love you always… I will give all the best that I could to be a good father and husband. I love you with all of my heart. I love you more and more and more. I love you Melissa Cantiveros. God bless you and to our baby. Let’s get loud,” he ended.
The comedienne, for her part, said she will never leave Francisco’s side, adding that she will strive to be the best wife and mother as they begin their family.
“Right from the start you were a thief you stole my heart, and I your willing victim. In this road that we will go through, everything is going through. Many humps, very rough curves and crossroads that we will experience but no matter what obstacles it may be, at the end of the day, 7:30 p.m., it’s always you and me. I promise to be not just a lawful wife but your best friend. I may not be able to be the best wife, but I will try my very best to be the best, not a beast mother like my mother to my father, char char lang. I promise a lifetime of bliss and inner happiness. I love you and I will always will,” she said.
Cantiveros and Francisco first met each other when they joined the ABS-CBN reality show “Pinoy Big Brother.”
Among those who attended their wedding were designer Nat Manilag, director Erick Salud, Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao, Ryan Bang and "Pinoy Big Brother" alumnus Paul Jake Castillo.
