MANILA, Philippines – Actress Angel Locsin admitted she initially had hesitations when she was offered the movie “One More Try.”

Speaking on “The Buzz” on Sunday, Locsin said she had qualms in accepting her role because she has yet to experience such a delicate situation in real life.

Locsin, however, eventually decided to accept the challenge.

Actress Angel Locsin talks about role in her upcoming movie "One More Try."

Locsin said she is the type of person who wants to do challenging roles so she would continue to grow as an actress.

The "Toda Max" star also did not deny the fact that she is now being particular when it comes to her projects.

Lucky to have Phil

Meanwhile, Locsin shared that she is not yet comfortable every time her boyfriend, Azkals striker Phil Younghusband, would watch her movies.

Despite this, Locsin said she is lucky to have found a supportive partner, who understands the nature of her job.

“Si Phil, napaka-supportive talaga noon. Napakaswerte ko po talaga na naiintindihan niya ang trabaho ko at sinusuportahan niya ako,” she said.

Asked if Younghusband felt awkward about her intimate scenes with fellow “One More Try” star Zanjoe Marudo, Locsins said: “Hindi pa po.

It was in February 2011 when Younghusband, 25, first invited Locsin, 27, to dinner for Valentine's Day via micro-blogging site Twitter. Over a year later, in June 2012, Younghusband confirmed that he and Locsin are officially a couple.
