International singing sensation Charice said that she will be spending the holidays in the Philippines with her family.

The singer has recently spent a lot of time in the US to do shows. She said that it feels good to be back home and to spend the holidays with your loved ones.

"Parang masasabi ko lang na kahit ilang beses akong nakakarating doon at anong season man iba pa din yung nandito at nakakasama mo ang friends and family," the singer said.

Charice said that until now she still cannot believe that she was showered with so many blessings this year.

The singer said that she is currently not planning anything for her career.

Asked what for her was the most memorable thing she experienced this year, Charice replied: "Hindi ako pwedeng mamili ng isa kasi lahat memorable nakapag-duet ako kay Celine, nag-guest kay Oprah and Ellen. So lahat memorable po."

Charice with David Foster

Charice is now being handled by one of the world's well-known musician-singers David Foster. She said that Foster is looking forward to staging a concert here with some of his international star friends.

Charice made headlines when she performed a duet with Celine Dion in New York. She said that she will be busy recording her international debut CD in 2009.

"Simula na akong mag-recording for my international debut album siguro kapag 17 na ako saka ko ire-release ang album," Charice said.

Just recently Charice was part of the prestigious Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in States.

Before she went home, the young singer also guested in a special event in the US where she met Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lionel Richie.
