MANILA, Philippines – “It’s heart’s time.”

This was declared by Heart Evangelista when asked if she was ready to be in a relationship again.

The chinita actress said she is currently dating a politician, but she's taking her time when it comes to making a commitment. She said that she just wants to enjoy life and her showbiz career.

Evangelista said 2009 has been a wonderful year for her, citing in particular her FAMAS best actress award for independent film “Ay Ayeng.” In the movie, Evangelista played the role of a professor teaching an ethnic group.

For the coming year, Evangelista is wishing for happiness. She is optimistic that 2010 will be as wonderful as this year.

Meanwhile, when asked about former boyfriend Jericho Rosales, Evangelista said she is happy for his success. She is not yet, however, ready to be friends with him again, she said. -Bernie Franco, ABS-CBN.com
