MANILA, Philippines - Hunk actor Derek Ramsay doesn’t mind if almost all the characters he portrays in his television and movie projects have ended up “dead.”

"It's not an issue for me. It's okay. Basta ako gagawin ko ang trabaho ko,” Ramsay told ABS-CBN News.

He added: "Kung may award nga sana for best in dying ako na ‘yon. Ilang beses na ba akong namatay? Okay lang. I play the role at hindi ako magko-complain na mamatay ako."

Ironically, Ramsay’s upcoming TV series is called "Habang May Buhay" where he will work with young superstar Judy Ann Santos.

Ramsay, who started as a model, is the boyfriend of actress Angelica Panganiban, his leading lady in "I Love You, Goodbye."
