Actor Jayson Gainza shared his excitement as his newest television project titled “Parekoy” will finally be aired on ABS-CBN.

In an interview, Gainza said that they already taped scenes for the series last October but they had to stop because of problems in schedules.

The actor said that he is really happy to continue working again with his showbiz friends John Prats and Zanjoe Marudo.

“Masaya kasi at least mae-air na din itong ‘Parekoy’ tapos at the same time ay magkakasama pa kaming tatlo na alam niyo naman iyong chemistry pa lang sa ‘Aalog-Alog’ ay maganda naman iyong kinalabasan kaya okay naman excited na nga kami,” Gainza told abs-cbnNEWS.com.

The comedian said that compared to their previous show, “Parekoy” is a show that will not only give you tons of laughter but will also touch the viewers’ hearts.

“Kasi iyong ‘Aalog-Alog’ kasi ay sitcom talaga, pwede kang mag-ad lib pwede mong paglaruan iyong eksena. Pero dito kasi kung ano ang script susundin mo kasi nandoon ang istorya. Kapag nilihis mo doon mawawala iyong tema,” the actor explains.

Gainza said that in the series he plays the character of Jess, a responsible father and a good friend of Marudo and Prats.

“Dito sa ‘Parekoy’, ako ang may alam ng lahat ng sekreto, may mga twist pero hindi ko masasabi,” he said.

He admitted that for the show he really had to prepare especially with his drama scenes.

“Ito na iyong pinaka-challenging na project ko. Sana nga pumatok ito, binigyan ka ng pagkakataon na maging isa sa mga bida kailangang makita ng mga tao na pwede ka para dire-diretso. Tatlo kami dito at hindi kami nagsisisi dahil ginawa namin lahat dito ang magagawa namin ni John at Zanjoe,” Gainza shared.
