MANILA - Can you see the image of national hero Ninoy Aquino in this TV screen shot sent by an ABS-CBN viewer?
One viewer tuned in to ABS-CBN's coverage of the funeral procession of former President Corazon "Cory" Aquino on Wednesday saw something striking in the footage.
In an email sent to ABS-CBN News, viewer Jun M. Castro said he saw the figure of the late Sen. Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. on the flag draped over Mrs. Aquino's coffin as it was passing through Pres. Osmeña Ave in Makati City, approaching Buendia.
Castro took pictures of the image he saw on television, wondering whether the image he saw was "printed on the flag."
In the images, he interpreted some grooves and shadows in the folds of the Philippine flag as the face of Ninoy, Cory's husband, who was assassinated in 1983. 
The event prompted a slew of protests and anti-Marcos movements - including the EDSA Revolution of 1986 - that eventually installed Mrs. Aquino as president and ended 20 years of the Marcos administration.
"We have been watching the coverage when we have time since Saturday. My wife and I are both Cory fans. I was in High School when Ninoy was assassinated, and was [in] my 2nd year of College in [the University of the Philippines] during the EDSA Revolution," Castro said.

for me iba nakikita ko bumababa sa hagdan
bumababa sa hagdan yung dalwa mama at si ninoy ang nauna katabi ng isa mama. yung dalwa sa likod ni ninoy ang bumaril. parang pinakita ang eksena kung sino ang bumaril sa kanya. , nagtataka ako bakit hindi nalaman sa imbestigation kung sino sa dalwa sundalo ang nagsasabi ng totoo,hindi nailabas sa tao ang imbestigasyun. dapat ikwento sa tao ang nangyari o record sa kortye ng paglilitis sa kaso ni ninoy. kasi nakatago sa nakakaraming pinoy. dapat magkaroon ng o maisama iyan sa pagaaralan ng kabataan o sa history kung ano nangyari sa paglilitis sa korte ng dinirinig ang kaso ni ninoy sa pagpatay sa kanya. para makahusga ang simpleng mamayan.. sana pakilabas nyo sa bayan ang history record na nagyaring paglilitis sa korte ng dinidinig ang pagpatay kay ninoy at ang paraan paano nahatulan at desisytun ng korte etc.

Ninoy will take care of Cory
I've watched the whole news yesterday, from the mass to the funeral convoy going to Manila Memorial Park. It seems that, Ninoy will really take care of Cory. They will see each other again now that they are both in God's hands. They are both god LEADERS of our country so we should be PROUD of them. :)

The first time i saw that long shot, i thought they replaced the flag with another one with Cory's face on it. Tapos, 'yung malapit na view ang pinakita nila and I saw that was still the Philippine Flag draped on the coffin. And yet, every time they show the long shot of Cory's coffin, you can see the face, which I think is Cory's, on it. I thought it was just an illusion so I tried to catch a glimpse of the coffin without the flag on it. The surface was smooth. No embossed or etched image on the coffin which would be visible if covered with a thin material.

It looks like Cory at first glance...but focusing farther resembles image that of Ninoy with wide eyeglasses. It's creepy but I believe Ninoy and Cory are reunited and are happy seeing the way things are - that Filipinos have not forgotten what they both sacrifice their lives for - "freedom"
