RE: How about an election lotto?

Voters have been swamped with all kinds of survey results that often proclaim different winners. Diehard and partisan voters in bars, coffee shops, and barber shops disagree and even wager money just to prove their pet candidate will win. Due to the fact that the May elections are getting climactic, I am seriously proposing a special Election Lotto under the auspices of the PCSO.
The mechanics of the lotto is simple. First, PCSO shall draw and assign for each presidential candidate a number (from 1 to 9). Second, after each candidate gets his number, the assigned name and number shall be published in the various print media. In other words, candidates from Aquino to Villar shall run like numbered horses on a race track and all the bettors need to do is bet on who gets the 1st, the 2nd, the 3rd, highest number of votes down to the least number.
Bettors win if their card shows the correct order of winners. There will be only three prizes, namely: the fist prize goes to bettors who guess the correct order from 1 to 9; the 2nd prize to eight correct order and the 3rd prize for seven correct order. Voters should stop arguing and lambasting one another. In stead, they should line up peacefully in Lotto outlets and put their money where their mouths are.
