Why Claudio Teehankee Jr. doesn't deserve a pardon
Simply because he shot at close range the late Miss Maureen Hultman and two other guys without any valid reasons in 1991. As if he just shot a bird.
Now I know the DOJ cheated the Hultman family when it pardoned Mr. Claudio Teehankee Jr. The DOJ said they published the pardon application of the convicted killer in 2006 and the Hultman family who is based in Sweden was given a copy or notice about the application. This the Hultman family denied.
The DOJ and the brother of the convicted killer Mr. Manuel Teehankee said the Hultman family agreed Teehankee Jr. may be pardoned by receiving blood money worth P6 million from the Teehankees.
Based on Mrs. Vivian Hultman the P6 million pesos was not a payment for the release of Mr. Teehankee Jr., instead it was part of his conviction or damages in the killing of Miss Maureen Hultman. So it's not blood money as elaborated by Mr. Manuel Teehankee in TV patrol world last night.
Last night in TV patrol world the DOJ secretary said that the objection of the Hultman family and several sectors of the Filipino society to the released of the convicted killer is too late. The DOJ said if they want to recall the pardon, the people and the Hultman family must appeal to Jesus Christ.
You know when I heard these words from the mouth of Secretary Gonzales of the DOJ, ang paningin ko biglang nagdilim. I am not expecting him to say those words to the press. You know what I said to my self. The tongue of this man must be cut, coz words coming from his mouth are always unpleasant.
Salita ba iyan ng isang taong may mataas na pinagaralan at may mataas na katungkulan sa gobyerno.
The DOJ's main job is to correct wrong doing and not the opposite. This man needs to be fired from his post as soon as possible.

First I don’t know the nature of the killing. I thought it was just simply a traffic accident. But learning that it was a heinous crime I don’t think he deserves to be pardoned.
The government officials were too indiscreet regarding this very serious matter by not trying to put themselves in the place of the victims. I believe Madam President and DOJ have overlooked the implications they caused on granting clemency to the convict.

Ermita, Dureza, the old Gonzales are all defending Arroyo of her decision. Of course, dahil hindi nila puedeng kontrahin yon dahil pag kinontra nila yon di baka sila na naman ang babalikan ni Aling Gloria.
With all due respect, si Aling Gloria na tinutukoy ko ay ang tinuturing na Pangulo ng Pilipinas ngayon na nakaupo na ng mahigit 6 na taon. Siya at si Marcos lang naging ganito.
Anyway, power nga ni Aling Gloria yon kaya kahit anong dakdak at kumento ang gawin ng buong mundo ay walang mangyayari. Si Aling Goria pa rin ang matutupad at nakatawang magsabi sa buong mundo na may power akong palayain si Teehankee na nahatulan ng korte na pumatay ng inosenteng tao.
At sa mga alipores ni Gloria na si Ermita at Dureza na magaling magsalita sa media at si Matandang Gonzales na magaling din na abogado. Tama lahat ang ginawa ni Aling Gloria.
Ano kaya kung ang anak ni Dureza, Ermita or Gonzales ang napatay ni Tehankee? Tama pa rin kaya kay Ermita, Dureza at Gonzales ang palayain ang tao na pumatay sa anak nila? Sa akin ay nagtatanong lang dahil sa mga pangyayari.

I was watching the news on the Filipino channel. I didn't know anything about this Teehankee case and what was the reason he murdered Chapman and Hultman and wounding Leino close to death.
I was curious and googled it. This trigger happy killer has a devil in his heart. I don't see any reason why he is being pardoned. That is ridiculous!!! Double/triple jeopardy for the victims!!!!

This monster son of Aling Pilar Teehankee and her husband Mang Claudio never really spent all those years inside prison! Using money and connections, he had been observed partying outside often! During times that he did not feel like going out, prostitutes had been seen entering his cell! How disgusting! We can all say that he never really suffered in prison!
Is that true? If it is, how can that happen? He is not supposed to be in prison. He deserves to be on death row.
Higher gov’t officials even mentioned that this Teehankee paid the victim or victims millions of pesos but when the parents of Hultman were interviewed, it was a big LIE. It is just crystal clear proof that the Philippine govt. is sick and corrupt.
You can not depend and can not trust those officials. What a scary place to live in.
