About Philam Life, I decided to surrender my Philam Plan pension plan which will mature on 2012. I had a very sad experience with CAP wherein my daughter was already in her 2nd year in college and after application of benefits every semester, even after their claimed rehabilitation plan, we haven’t received a single centavo.
I surrendered my plan last September 19, 2008 here in the Cubao branch. The front desk lady by the name of a Miss Rana, told me that it would take 2-3 weeks for the processing. She gave me Philam Plans’ telephone number were I can follow up and gave me my account number. Unfortunately their computer operated phone service did not recognize my account number and for those like me who are not much in privy in managing non friendly computer operated phone services, I had to personally follow up again in their Cubao branch.
Okay so on processing pa nga ulit. So sa ika 21st day nag follow up ako sa phone kasi nakuha ko na yung nakatagong technique para may sumagot na tao at hindi lang puro computer ang sasagot. Eto ang magaling...ang sagot sa akin..."In-processing pa po ma'am"...sabi ko eh 3rd week na...sabi niya...15-18 working days pag process and 15-18 days ang pag prepare ng check...ang galing talaga ng Philam Life kasi uncoordinated sila sa front desk and dun sa customer service sa phone. Is this part of their delaying tactics because they are really in trouble?
And to think lugi na nga ako dahil i paid P68,000+ in five years...pahirapan...kapag late payment ay may interest ka pa. Tapos ang makukuha ko "raw" ay P57,000 lang. Sus racket talaga itong plan na ito...dapat matulungan kami ng media dito sa kalokohan nitong racketeers na insurers...hard earned money going nowhere...HELP!
