Harry and Paul Filipina maid sketch
Dear sir/madam
Hope you don’t mind but I have been following the coverage of the Harry and Paul protest. I did in fact take part in the protest at the BBC. I made a comment to the press to say that I found the sketch to be sexist racist and immoral. This article has been quoted in the British press.
Bearing in mind that I am British and not Filipino surely me taking the time to attend the protest and make such a useful contribution is worth mentioning in your recent article as well.
I am very proud to be part of a Filipino family. The quotes by those in the Filipino community have been used but not mine. I want people in the Philippines to know that people from other countries and not just Filipinos also protested.
