RE: Senate Blue Ribbon Committee findings were good for RP

This was about the mess created by Aling Gloria's government in 2006 – the controversial ZTE-NBN deal worth $329 million. Yesterday's Senate findings were welcomed by majority of Filipinos living in the Philippines and all over the world as a move to stop illegal activities in the government sector and course graft and corrupt practices.

Senate Blue Ribbon Committee Chairman Senator Dick Gordon recommended that all the players involved in that aborted project be investigated before the Ombudsman as soon as possible for those who have no immunity to suit and once they become a normal citizen of the Republic of the Philippines for those with immunity.

What made me content and happy was that the alledged main players were included. These are no other than Aling Gloria and husband Mang Miguel.

Was the the decision correct? Yes, based on various stories supported by solid evidence, Aling Gloria violated the 1987 constitution when she witnessed the signing of the deal in China sometime in 2006 inspite the fact that one of her closed allies informed her that he was being bribed by P200 million just to sign the NBN project.

But what did she do? Instead of finding out the truth she ignored what she heard and it entered her left ear and passed out her right ear. What did that mean? It’s very clear, she was tolerating wrong doing even though she was the alleged fake president of the Philippines. That was the reason why Sen. Gordon included her in those to be charged in court for graft together with Mang Miguel.

After more two years of waiting for this verdict, our patience and hard work bore good and quality fruit.
