The handful but noisy militants from the ranks of Anakbayan , Bayan Muna, Gabriela, and other leftist groups are barking up the wrong tree in their protest against the visit of Sec.Hillary Clinton.

 

Why are they singling out USA interest? What about the Abu Sayyaf, the Chinese exporters of fake and low quality products, Japanese and Korean pedophile tourists, and how about our own drug dealers and corrupt politicians?

 

Where were these militants when our senators were grilling syndicated grafters and money launderers like Jocjoc Bolante, ex-General Garcia, the Euro Generals, and the ZTE high profile gang of tompats. They could have marched to congress and lent support to our senate investigators to facilitate charges and jail terms for these culprits. I suppose they were rapping and singing American.

 

Thanks to ANC of the Kapamilya channel for bringing Hillary into our living rooms. Nothing the Secretary did or said would have hurt even the most sensitive and militant among Filipinos. Yet, these misguided group of young protestors scream expletives at the US like it is the single biggest cause of our problems.

 

The VFA is a done deal that benefits both countries. For one, our ill-equipped military can have access to the modern military hardware the US has, and on the other hand, US soldiers can learn from our soldiers military tactics on guerilla warfare in our wooded and mountainous terrains. US soldiers aren’t to engage in real war unless they are attacked by our enemies during their exercises. Not until we can defend ourselves militarily from foreign invaders of our shores, a well-maintained alliance with a super power is the better part of wisdom.

 

 

Nagtataka lang ako sa mga kapareho kong filipino bakit ayaw nila pumunta si Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sa Pinas. Nasa China ngayon ako pero wala akong nakikitang masama sa pagbisita niya. Ang masama madami na sa ating Pilipino ang matalino, sobrang talino.

 

Kung minsan masama din ang sobrang talino. Nagtataka lang ako bakit sila naaapektohan ng ganyan. Hahaha. Huwag sana tayo magpagamit sa mga matatalinong maggagamit. Hehehe.
