But I was looking at the map of the Pasig River. Is it possible and practical to just build "locks" or barrier walls in certain sections of the Pasig from Manila Bay to Laguna de Bay? Sort of like the Panama Canal. That way the tide is controlled and the river more manageable and easier to clean and prevent pollution. Just a thought.
