If sa US yung LPN with 1yr at yung RN 2yrs.... eh bakit nagawa nila yung standard in the medical field? Kasi puspusan ang pagtuturo ng kinauukulan.

Kaya bago kayo mag-approve, konsultahin ninyo ang mga concerned na family who send their kids to school. Yun if importante pa sa inyo ang feedback ng mga students and families who work hard earning the money to fulfill their kids dream.

What is wrong with the system is that they just keep accepting students for the program. What is better for them to do is to give quality teaching, quality education to the nursing students, and not only concentrate with the quantity of the incoming students that will enroll with the program.

The problem is, they just collect and collect and collect with all these tuition fees from their Nursing students....Why not focus on how they will educate their future nurses and make sure that these students will remember what they are teaching?

For example, studying nursing in U.S (different states have different system), is not that easy. In the college I am attending to, we have to take and pass all the pre-requisites with maintaining A grades (92%-100%) in all subjects. If you get a B grade you must at least keep up to still get a final grade of A. After we pass all pre-requisite subjects, the next step is to take and pass the test to be accepted in Nursing Department. First year is the LPN, after completion of the LPN program, (which is a one-year prog), then take and pass the state board exam which is the NCLEX-PN, after passing and getting a license, then you will be qualified to enroll into RN program.

We can't enroll right away into RN program, not unless we are already a Licensed Practical Nurse (PN). RN is another 1 year program, after taking all the classes for RN, there is that board exam which is called NCLEX-RN.Have to take and pass and secure a license to be a Registered Nurse (RN). Total of two board exams. Then, completing the BSN program, all must be a Registered Nurses.

Does the government have nothing else to do? What a shame?!? If they truly care for  the students’ futures they must oblige each school to improve their way of teaching to the students.

Adding 1 more year doesn't make sense unless they would like the parents and those who are helping their kin's tuition feel the pinch.

And another thing that i want to know, have they consulted either students and parents or whoever spend thousands of pesos for an additional year of expenses? If not then consult us first if it is okay with us not the administrations of the school cause most of them will agree with you, because they are not the people who experienced the pinch but the family.
