I hope the government and media as well can do something to shed a light in this brutal massacre in Mindanao. I grew up in a neighboring province which is South Cotabato. Though my province is a Christian area, we were never exempted from the brutality of the muslims. 

 

The Ampatuans and Mangudadatus have their own private group of armed and brutal Muslim men. They can wage war just on their own but this has to stop. They don't own Maguindanao. It is but just a part of the whole Philippines. Both families are very close to Gloria Arroyo so I expect the Malacañang to distance from the issue. If the government can't do something about this, then the media has to.
