This is now the 3rd syndicated estafa case filed against Celso de los Angeles, et.al. Have they been arrested yet? Why is the DOJ headed by an old log still not issuing warrants of arrest for these criminals?

Misguided and wasted youth on VFA
Every time I see on TV some young people marching towards the US embassy carrying placards slamming the VFA and American presence (and getting hurt), I can’t help but lament that their energy and future are only being wasted away by their leftist demagogues. I asked myself, if these marchers have a worthy cause, how come they are not supported and joined in by the thousands of students in the University Belt who, otherwise, must also be concerned?

I read your column and was disgusted at Boyet Fajardo's lame excuse for berating his fellow Filipino due to his stress. And I cannot believe that he will dare call his outburst "creative". I am an accountant and not an artist but if I get tired at the financial reports I am reviewing, I don't think I have the right to have a public outburst - or a "financial outburst", let alone cuss at people around me and point fingers at them.

Noli de Castro’s decision on lifting ban on sending mostly Pilipino maids to Lebanon is unsophisticated or culture ignorance. Lebanon is a Muslim country where their own women are maltreated or most of the time killed through honor killing. A country whose economy is not that better than Philippine economy. A country whose economy relies heavily on remittances from Lebanese living abroad.
