MANILA - Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada on Friday denied that he will run for President in 2016.

"This is my last hurrah," he said.

Estrada said he already served as President and he doesn't plan to run for the same position again.

He also plans to focus on his job as Manila mayor and wants to finish his term with good health.

He said his new year's resolution is to quit smoking.

Estrada said he has abstained from smoking for 10 days now.

Instead of consuming 1 1/2 packs of cigarettes per day, he said he is now eating candies.

Asked if he plans to urge President Benigno Aquino to also quit smoking, Estrada said he doesn't want to give unsolicited advice. - report from Zyann Ambrosio, ABS-CBN News
