Typhoon Glenda (international name Rammasun) made landfall twice over Albay on Tuesday afternoon, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

The tropical cyclone Glenda slammed into Rapu-Rapu Island in Albay Gulf at around 5 p.m., before making a second landfall in Tabaco, Albay, at around 6:30 p.m.

PAGASA's Doppler radar in Virac, which can be monitored through Project NOAH, captured Glenda's landfall. An animated loop of the event was uploaded online by Brian McNoldy, senior research associate at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School.

Other foreign weather agencies also recorded the landfall.
