Members of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) started arriving at Ciudad de Victoria on Saturday, a day ahead of the church's centennial celebrations on Sunday. Members came on jeepneys, buses and cars starting Saturday morning as they tried to avoid the heavy traffic because of the expected arrival of thousands, probably millions, of members of the church.

Traffic on NLEX started to build up even as authorities tried to manage the flow of people and traffic trying to get to 75-hectare Ciudad de Victoria, site of the Philippine Arena, in Bocaue, Bulacan.

The 55,000 seat arena, said to be the biggest domed stadium in the world, is the focal point of celebrations of the Philippine church, which grew from its humble beginnings in July 27, 1914 and now counts more than two million members around the world. The P9.4 billion arena was specially built in time for the centennial celebrations.
