SAUDI ARABIA – Five Filipinos were arrested for allegedly using illegal drugs in Riyadh.

Patnubay, a non-government organization assisting Filipinos, said four of those arrested were just dragged into the case because they all live in the same house.

Ganyan ang procedure dito sa Saudi,” said Bernard Castillo, a cousin of one of the suspects.

The Philippine Embassy has requested the media not to reveal the names of those arrested.

The embassy, Castillo said, has been informed and is monitoring the case.

Castillo urged Filipinos to follow the law of their host country.

John Paul Aleta, ABS-CBN Middle East News Bureau correspondent
