HOLLYWOOD, California – Hollywood stars Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore are no strangers to Filipino culture.

In an interview with ABS-CBN North America News Bureau, Sandler shared about his addiction to Filipino bread, which he first learned about through the Filipino mother of his friend, actor Rob Schneider.

"I love when Rob's mother makes this. She makes some good baked Filipino goods. In fact, I go to a Filipino bakery around here literally every morning. We got addicted in Hawaii and we brought it back to the mainland," he said.

Barrymore, for her part, said she treasures the few friends she has from the Philippines.

In the movie "Blended," Barrymore and Sandler present the latest chapter in their much-admired onscreen partnership.

The stars have been friends since they started working together a decade and a half ago.

When asked what has changed between them since they worked on “The Wedding Singer” 16 years ago, Barrymore jokingly quipped: “His egg-shaped head is still very eggy.”

On a more serious note, Barrymore noted that both of them are now parents who are sincerely dedicated to their respective daughters.

“He is such a good father. By the way, you can see it in this movie because I'm sorry you can't fake or act that. You're so good as a dad in this movie and that's what you're like in real life,” said Barrymore of Sandler.

Much like their onscreen characters, Barrymore and Sandler enjoy trading jokes whenever they are together.
